I can feel it in my bones

(shirt: vintage, shorts: levi's (DIY), purse: BCBGeneration, sunglasses: vintage Ray Ban, scrunchie: vintage)

The weather has been all over the place lately. Thankfully, the past few days have been warm :) I tried pairing this shirt with a bandeau I bought at Forever 21 for $3.50, but I don't think it really fits me (I haven't yet found a place that sells them larger than XS). I bought the bag last week for $30 and have been absolutely in love with it ever since. I found this scrunchie in my makeup bag, and those of you who dare to argue that it's out of style clearly don't know how comfortable it really is.

Swirls and Twirls

(source unknown)

I absolutely love henna tattoos. There used to be a little booth at my town's street fair every year that did them, but it hasn't been there in a while. I need to find a place that sells it so I can learn to do them for myself...

My Fingertips Are Holding On to the Cracks in Our Foundation

(floral shirt: H&M, lace shirt: Urban Outfitters, playsuit: Forever 21)

Here's a few things I bought yesterday when I went to the mall (which I rarely do). Last week it was super hot outside so I decided I needed some more appropriate clothes, but I stayed on a budget. The first shirt I got at H&M for $4.99! Even the woman at the cash register said she was impressed. The second shirt I found at Urban Outfitters for $9.99 in the sale section after scouring for something price friendly for nearly an hour. It's a bit sheer, but I can see myself wearing a black tank top under it. And last but not least, the playsuit is my absolute favorite. I love it I love it I love it I love it! I saw it on the Forever 21 website a few days ago and prayed I would find it in the store. It's a shame the weather is supposed to be cold all this week so I can't wear it soon :(

The best part about going to the mall though is that I found a store that sells Nylon!

Also, I've been kind of on a nail polish buying binge lately

A Lovely Day for a Picnic

(credit to Yael for the lovely photos)

Earlier this week a few of us decided to have a little picnic on the grass in front of the school during lunch. It's been 80 degrees every day lately, so I've been dressing a bit less stylish and a bit more practical (hot weather + a school with little air conditioning = being in a sauna for six hours a day). However, that day I did wear my favorite blue striped shirt that used to be my brother's and these awesome vintage Ray Ban's my sister left at home :)
